History
Marland Ltd. began life in North West London in 1971, when Marcel and Tony Landau founded a small business selling fashion papers and polythene products used by the UK clothing industry.
Very quickly both the business and the product range expanded, to include a full range of packaging materials used by all industries. The range has continued to grow over the years, and today Marland has the most comprehensive assortment of retail, commercial and industrial packaging products in the UK.
In 1980 Marland set up brand new manufacturing and distribution facilities in Billingborough, Lincolnshire, which is about 15 miles east of Grantham. By the late 1990`s all administrative functions had also been relocated to this new base. To this day Marland continues to be a family run business and employs 95 staff, distributing product across Europe.
Flexocare Brand Products
Marland are perhaps best known for their market leading Flexocare brand products, which are found in most top retail outlets, mail-order catalogues and wholesalers. The Flexocare brand offers popular packaging products, as well as innovative mailing and storage products exclusive to Marland.
Arts and Crafts products are also covered in the retail and commercial markets under the Presentor brand. This encompasses a comprehensive colour range of tissue and crepe papers, as well as other attractive materials and gift wraps.
Marland have also recently launched a range of papers, labels and tags under the Marland Office brand. This is a new and exciting direction for the company, and one that is hoped to prove popular in shops, offices and catalogues.
Finally Marland offers a vast range of industrial packaging products and materials. Marland is the largest independent converter of bubble film and foam in the UK and designs and manufactures many products such as bags, sheets and covers for a variety of customers with diverse requirements. Marland also engineers its own range of innovative packing benches and mailroom systems, which can be custom built to suit any warehouse or office.

Bubble Film and Foam Bags
Bubble film and foam bags are a very inexpensive method of protecting fragile products during transit. These pouches offer a very quick and simple alternative to wrapping or void-filling and are available in an extensive range of grades, sizes and strengths.
Self Seal Bags
We offer a wide range of sizes of self-seal bags (only available in bubble film), which are manufactured with a flap and a self-adhesive closure offering greater protection and security.
Sheeting
Marland are able to offer a first-class service on sheeted products. Sheets of bubble film and foam are perfect for interleaving products and have been used across the fruit produce industry for many years.
Protective Covers
Marland`s Fabrication Department, newly equipped and modernised for 2005 can offer a protective solution for even the most awkward shaped items. Five sided bubble film covers offer excellent protection for square or rectangular shaped products. These covers can offer even greater protection when manufactured from laminate grades of material. Shaped protective covers can also be manufactured to a customer`s specific requirements. These have been used to cover products such as furniture and machinery and offer maximum protection and security, whilst being extremely easy to use.
Continuous Tubing and Sleeves
Marland can also produce a continuous tube of bubble film for when different lengths of protective material is required. This is another simple and versatile method of packaging awkward items. Bubble sleeves are a similar product, but with openings at both ends, which is ideal for cylindrical products.
Compartment Bags
Compartment bags are produced by welding pouches together in a continuous line. This allows multiple components requiring individual packaging to be kept together and is perfect for spare parts or large production runs of a certain item.
Perforated Bubble Bags on a Reel
Marland`s latest product invention allows Bubble Bags to be produced in a continuous line, but with perforations in-between each bag. This allows the person packaging the goods to simply tear off how ever many bags he requires, and safely store the rest for later use.
