David Gibbons is a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer and holds an MBA degree. It is in his fifth year with TechTIPS and he has successfully closed over 50 technology licenses for UCSD innovations. His accomplishments at UCSD include the Licensing Officer Award for outstanding performance in fiscal year 2005.
David comes to UCSD after serving eight years as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy. His background includes project and program management, contracts and acquisition, and project engineering.
