Equipment & Technology PVI equipment is specifically designed to adapt to the expanding and changing application of plastics in manufacturing today. Our six base models represent the core architecture from which almost any degree of sheet-fed thermoforming can be achieved: X Series: Single heat, manualXX Series: Single heat, automaticXTX Series: Twin heat top & bottom, automaticDE Series: Converts any X, XX or XTX model to a double ender, dual platen machine, substantially increasing production output. An XTX-DE standard configuration can produce 1/8" acrylic sheets at rates up to one every 2 minutes, and is available in 2' increments from 4'x4' to 10'x24' sizes.PA Series: Plug assist for high definition forming, limited draw depthDPA Series: Plug assist for heavy duty, high definition forming with deep draws. Standard twin heater enables use of plastic up to ¾" thick. Fully automatic with standard and remote control consoles. PA and DPA configurations can be combined with XTX and/or DE Series. Both ship standard with our Pneumatic Clamping System.ThermoDry Oven: PVI exclusive for fast, economical drying of ABS and polycarbonate sheets. All steel construction with heavy-duty insulation, electric heaters, PDI and thermocouple controls, high-velocity dual-blowers. Handles sheet sizes up to 10x24’, with custom sizes available PVI’s modular design allows you to combine series features to best suit your application. Along with our expansive options and innovative custom engineering, PVI systems can be configured to implement simple prototyping through multi-process hi-speed mass production.
